It can be completed in same day or one night stay at Kedarnath can be arranged on request. Pawan Hans and another private Charter companies are in to existence to provide the helicopter services in Kedarnath and subject to change. Yamunotri - Gangotri and Badrinath section will be by drive only. Please contact us if you need to charter a helicopter for all Chardham destinations .

Day 01 Drive from Delhi to Rishikesh ( 225 kms)
Morning drive to Rishieksh. Approx 6 hours drive will take you to the city of temples. Check in at the hotel. Later visit the most interesting places .
Rishikesh is located some 24 km north of Haridwar on the right bank of the Ganga, surrounded on three sides by the Himalayan ranges. Legend has it that God revealed himself to Raibhaya Rishi as Hrishikesh, after long penance and this sacred spot was henceforth known as such. A renowned centre of Yoga discipline and learning, Rishikesh is dotted with shrines and ashrams. Some 5 km away is the famous temple of Laxman Jhoola, dedicated to Laxman, the brother of Lord Ram, where he is believed to have performed penance. Rishikesh is also the starting point of several treks and pilgrimages to the holy shrines of Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath.
Evening you may go to Laxman Jhullah and further walk up to Parmarth Niketan to witness the Aarte ceremony at the time of Sun set. Back to hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 02 Drive to Guptakashi ( 175 Kms)
After breakfast ion the morning start drive around 7.30 AM to reach at Guptakashi towards Badrinath highway. Stop at Devprayag which is approx 70 Kms from Rishieksh to se the confluence of River Bhagirathi coming from Gangotri and Alaknanda from Badrinath. Cross the river Bhagirathi and Continue drive along with the river Alaknanda and its right bank.
In Kirtinagar you need to cross the bridge over Alaknanda and follow the left bank. You will enter the biggest town in Garhwal called Srinagar situated at a span of nearly 10 Kms. After driving 30 Kms from Srinagar you will arrive at Rudraprayag which is another religious destination being the confluence of Alalknanda and mandakini river coming from kedarnath. Take the left turn and follow river Mandakini to reach at Guptakashi.
Should you need to visit the ancient temple at Guptakashi you need to walk upwards nearly for 15 minutes to reach at the Guptakashi village and witness the ancient temple. This is believed that Lord Shiva gave his presence to Pandavas at this place in a hidden formed that why name of this place is Gupta ( Hidden) - Kashi ( Shiva) .
Check in at the hotel / camp and dinner and overnight this place.
Day 03: Drive to Gaurikund and Trek to Kedarnath ( 1 hour Drive + 14 Kms trek)
Morning drive to Gaurikund, Need park your car at right location and visit hot spring sulfer water called Gauri Kund. Take your towel and under garments with you and essential stuff to carry at Kedarnath. Have a holi dip and prayer at Gauri Ganesh Temple and start trek to Kedarnath ji fro 14 Kms.
Should you need to take a horse / doli can be arranged at the association counter in prepaid fix rate basis. Approx 5- 6 hours trek will take you to this divine place. Trail is good and no problem to walk. Keep yourself in left or mountain side while walking upwards.
Arrive at Kedarnath and check in at your hotel / Ashram / Tourist bungalow Evening visit the shrine and witness Aarte ceremony. Please be there before hand to reserve your perfect place. There are some provisions to get the pre ticket to reserve the seats at the front and can be arranged yourself in advance at the temple by giving some fix donations.
Back to the hotel and you may have your dinner at any nice restaurant nearby. Overnight at hotel.
Kedarnath : The Kedarnath shrine, one of the 12 jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva, is a scenic spot situated, against the backdrop of the majestic Kedarnath range. Kedar is another name of Lord Shiva, the protector and the destroyer. According to legend, the Pandavas after having won over the Kaurava in the Kurukshetra war, felt guilty of having killed their own brothers and sought the blessings of Lord Shiva for redemption. He eluded them repeatedly and while fleeing took refuge at Kedarnath in the form of a bull. On being followed he dived into the ground, leaving his hump on the surface. The r! emaining portions of Lord Shiva appeared at four other places and are worshipped there as his manifestations. The arms appeared at Tungnath, the face at Rudranath, the belly at Madhmaheshwar and his locks (hair) with head at Kalpeshwar. Kedarnath and the four above-mentioned shrines are treated as Panch Kedar.
Day 04: Trek from Kedarnath - Gaurikund & Drive to Guptakashi
Early morning after breakfast retrace back to Gaurikund and may take nearly 4 - 5 hours. Your vehicle will awaits for your to transfer to Guptakashi at your hotel / camp. Spend another night Guptakashi and overnight.
Day 05: Drive Guptakashi to Badrinath ( 225 Kms / 7 hours )
After breakfast continue drive to Badrinath. If driving Via Chopta than this is recommended to visit Okhimath temple which is the winter seat of Lord Kedarnath. Drive Via Chopta - Mandal - Gopeshwar will be wonderful. This route is subject to road condition. Arrive Badrinath and Check in at your Hotel.
Badrinath one of the 'Four Dhams' is one of the most celebrated pilgrimage spots of the country and is situated at an elevation of 3,133 meters, guarded on either side by the two mountain ranges known as Nar & Narayan with the towering Neelkanth Peak providing a splendid backdrop. This revered spot was once carpeted with wild berries. Thus the place got the name "Badri van", meaning "forest of berries".

Day 06: Drive to Gobind Ghat ( 35 Kms) & trek to Ghangriya ( 14 kms)
After breakfast drive to Gobind Ghat. Approx one and half hour drive will take you to this trek point and gear up for your trek to Valley of Flowers. Horses / Pony and Doli arrangements are under the Local Association and on fix charges basis. Should you need to avail the services as such you may proceed to the counter and reserve the horses/ Pony / Doli as per the requirements. Cross the Alaknanda river and follow the trail to Ghangriya which is the hub for trek to Valley of Flowers and Hemkund Sahib. It may take approx 6 - 7 hours to reach at Ghangriya. Enroute you will find local shelters where you may have facility to get snacks/ drinks and food. You will be following river Pushpawati which is coming from Valley of flowers. Enjoy the trek and encounters with the pilgrims enroute. Check in at your guest house / camp / Tourist bungalow and overnight.
Day 07 Trek to Hemkund Sahib and back to Gahgriya ( 6 kms one way)
After breakfast start your trek to Hemkund Sahib. A steep uphill trail will take you to the top of the mountain where you will witness a magnificent lake surrounded by 7 Hills.
Hemkund or Hemkunt is a pilgrimage site for Sikhs community in India. Located in Chamoli district, of Uttarakhand, and close to the valley of Flowers on Rishikesh Badrinath Highway. With a setting of a glacial lake surrounded by seven mountains ( High ranges of Himalayas ( Considered as a Sheshnag mounth which has 7 mounts) Each peak is adorned by a Nishan Sahib on its cliff, Located in the Himalayas at an elevation of 15,200 feet. 14 Kms trek from Gobind Ghat to Ghangriya and 7 kms from Ghangriya to Hemkund Sahib can be reached.
Hemkund is famous for the Sikh worship-place Gurudwara, known as Sri Hemkunt Sahib Ji, devoted to Guru Gobind Singh Ji (1666-1708), the tenth Guru of Sikh religion, which finds mention inDasam Granth, a piece of work narrated by Guru Gobind Singh Ji,Himself. Lakhmana temple next to Gurudwara has its significance at this place. Believed that brother of Lord Rama - laxman did ( tapasya) meditation at this place in Ramayana period. Brahma Kamal which is the state flower of Uttarakhand and one of the rare plant / flower can be found next to the shrine and around. Blue poppy and other high altitude plants will be blooming in the month of June to September.
Have a holi dip at the Hemkund Sarovar and back to Ghangriya by the evening and overnight at your hotel / Guest house / Tourist Bungalow.
Day 08: Trek from Ghangriya to Gobind Ghat & Drive to Joshimath ( 10 Kms)
After breakfast retrace back to Gobind Ghat. It may take approx 4 - 5 hours fro a normal trekker to come down. Your vehicle awaits for your pick up and drive you up to Joshimath. Check in at your hotel and spend another night at this small but important and religious place called Joshimath
It would be interesting to visit couple of places in Joshimath. Narsingh temple which is a winter seat of Lord Badrinath. Shankaracharya Temple / Parmartha Niketan / Shankaracharya Cave / kalpa Vriksha etc are some of the main features at this place. Auli is another destination which is famous for its Himalayan Panorama and winter sport - Skiing. Well connected by Cable Car and Road for 12 kms approx.
Day 09: Drive Joshimath to Haridwar ( 160 Kms)
After breakfast drive back to Haridwar for nearly 8 - 9 hours. Check in at the hotel and evening witness the Aarte ceremony at Har Ki Pauri.
Haridwar is located at the foot of the Shivalik hills on the banks of the holy Ganga. Known as Mayapuri in the Puranas, it is mentioned in the memoirs of the Chinese traveller Huien TSang. Legend has it that the ancestors of Raja Bharigarh were burnt at this holy spot by the curse of Sage Kapila. They were redeemed by the Raja's penance which brought the Ganga down from Lord Shiva's locks. Millions of devotees flock to this temple city annually to redeem themselves. The most sacred of the bathing ghats lining the river is Har-ki-Pauri. This is the venue of the Kumbha and Ardh Kumbha Melas, held every 12 and 6 years respectively, when hundreds of thousands of Hindu pilgrims, priests and sadhus gather

Morning check out and drive back to Delhi. Approx 6 hours drive will take you to the capital and you will be dropped at railway station / Airport.
